The 15 min. rule and Filing Cabinets

You can do anything for 15 minutes. If you are dreading cleaning your house, and it is stopping you from enjoying coming home at the end of the day, try this:

Cleaning: Kitchen/Social Areas

Today’s cleaning basics are going to be in a slightly different format than yesterday. Instead of focusing on the specific object to be cleaned, due to the vast variety of objects in these areas, I will instead give a list of WHEN to clean.

Cleaning: Bathroom/Bedroom

I know, you have been waiting for this week! Who doesn’t love and look forward to cleaning. Other than, oh…just about everyone. I do love a clean house, I’ve seen them. Every now and then I have one…and then I move, or breath or make dinner and poof. No clean house.

So cleaning is an ongoing never-ending chore that most people endure. Today is all about the Bathroom and the Bedroom.

Getting along with the neighbors

hey say “Good Fences Make Good Neighbors”, and oddly enough, nowhere is that truer than apartment living. You are living in each other’s “space” and need to be mindful of that. Neighbors can make or break your living situation. A good neighbor will enhance your life; a bad neighbor will make it an endurance run.

Moving In to a New Place

You have the new apartment of your dreams! (Or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof.) On move in day, there are things you need to do before you move in a single box or item of furniture.
